When one contemplates the past, one sees cycles. the famous saeculum is a latin word, a recognition of these seasons of history. Yet, yet.....yet the whole idea of change for the sake of change is still abhorrent to me and if the seasons of history are traced will be abhorrent to the coming generation 4 times removed from mine.
